M12 “Tall Tails of Mountains and Molehills”

This was a biggen to be sure. I gathered all the old, tattered books in my collection and stacked them up high so I could have a reference to work from for this drawing. I wanted to capture the feeling of looking up this giant stack of books so that this mountainous feeling would pervade the senses. The titles of the books were all chosen to help tell the story of climbing, hiking, and of course, about the Townsend’s Chipmunk. These little guys are expert climbers and the best entertainment around.
