I am always on the hunt for interesting objects to add to my drawings and at some point I was able to get my grubby little hands on an old set of Tinker Toys (the real deal ones from back when they were made of wood and not plastic). I borrowed a loaner kid that had a terrific little engineer type brain and I asked, “Can you make me a chicken out of these?” Approximately 84 seconds later I had a Tinker Toy chicken for my still life and a drawing was born. Forever grateful, Christopher. <3
