B52 “The Hungry Reader”

“The Hungry Reader” is really one of my favorite pieces. It was just a joy to conceptualize, compose, and execute. In this image I wanted to convey that being born with a certain lot in life doesn’t mean you can’t choose to take a different path. The Great Horned Owl, a born hunter, is learning to be a kinder and gentler version of himself so he can enjoy the company of all his tiny friends. With books called “The Feathered Vegan” and “The Wisdom of Peace” he is sure to succeed.
