I had an encounter with a Saw Whet Owl and it made such an impact on me (though I’m sure I meant nothing to him). They are so tiny and seemingly vulnerable yet they are one of nature’s most efficient little hunters. I am continuously drawn to things that display such a dichotomy of traits. The unexpected. Just don’t get me started on the Least Weasel…but that’s for a future drawing.
